This is even more fantastic if you can see it in person–unreal but very real! Definitely make the fish market a stop if you are ever visiting Tokyo, and eat some fresh sushi from one of the little stalls around there, you won’t regret it!

It was a great experience, even though you have to wake up at 4 AM… Sadly about a month after my trip there, they started closing it to tourists so you can no longer view the auction. Which kind of makes sense- I definitely felt like I was in the way and interrupting commerce a lot of the time!! :) I’m not sure if it’s always closed, but I looked and it’s closed now…
